Two ways to be part of a safer Cornell — lead the training, or bring it to your organization.
Want to get paid to make Cornell safer? Cayuga's Watchers hires students as paid trainers — and we're always looking for the next group to lead this work.
As a trainer, you'll:
The best trainers are confident speakers who can read a room, give and take feedback well, and genuinely believe in the mission. No prior experience required — we'll teach you everything you need.
Cayuga's Watchers training is free and open to any Cornell student organization — Greek chapters, clubs, teams, project teams, and more.
In a session, your members learn to spot the warning signs of a dangerous situation and practice real strategies for stepping in safely. It's interactive and honest — led by students who've been in the same rooms — and built on actual research, not scare tactics.
Sessions run in person and we'll work with you to fit your group's size and schedule.
